NYPBS Trainee Tutor Programme

BASS & TENOR TUTOR OPPORTUNITY

We recognise the challenges many young people face in building a career in music and the need for paid work experience and training opportunities. 

Our Trainee Tutor programme is aimed at young people aged 18-25. This structured training and work experience would be targeted towards recent music graduates, current music students or those with a strong foundation in music and ability to play and an interest in working with young people. 

We are seeking to appoint a bass & tenor drum trainee to support the delivery of both our Outreach programme, as well as our three National Bands this year. Trainees will gain real world professional development opportunities throughout NYPBS 2024-25 year of activity. 

This is an entry-level positions for candidates aged up to, and including, 25 years old, or up to 30 years old if you identify as disabled. All successful applicants will be paid to attend training sessions before commencing work.
